Deputy Chief Investigator, Case Intake Division

Fred Glenn Jr. brings more than 29 years of law enforcement and criminal justice experience to his role as a Deputy Chief Investigator in the Bureau of Investigations at the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office. During his tenure with the Executive Leadership Team, Fred has served as Deputy Chief Investigator of the Trial Division, Assistant Chief Investigator for the Major Crimes Division, as well as a Senior Investigator and Investigator in the office.

He has supported felony prosecutions by investigating major crimes, including interviewing suspects, victims and witnesses; drafting and executing search warrants; requesting and serving subpoenas; and participating in assignments including surveillance, raids, and arrests. He has a strong record of professional achievement and partnerships. In 2019, Fred was recognized as Investigator of the Year.

Before joining the District Attorney’s Office, Fred served as a police officer with the Atlanta Police Department, Georgia State University’s Police Department, and the Atlanta Public Schools’ Resource Officer Program. He has also held senior criminal justice roles with the Florida Department of Corrections and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. He is a proud graduate of Florida A&M University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. He also holds an Associate in Arts degree from Tallahassee Community College.
