Pursuant to O.C.G.A §21-2-374 (b) and O.C.G.A §21-2-379.25(c) notice is hereby given that the Logic & Accuracy Testing (L&A) of the voting equipment to be used for the corresponding elections will begin as noted:

November 3, 2026, General, Special, and Nonpartisan Elections

o Begin: September 21, 2026, at 10 a.m.
o L&A will continue daily until completed:

  • Monday-Friday      7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
  • Saturday and Sunday   8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.

o The estimated completion date: October 31, 2026

If needed, General Runoff Election shall be held on December 1, 2026. L&A for the December 1 Runoff will commence on November 11, 2026, and will continue day to day until completed. The estimated completion date is November 28, 2026.

Pursuant to O.C.G.A. §21-2-386(a)(2)(A) notice is hereby given that the processing and scanning of Absentee Ballots for the November 3, 2026, General, Nonpartisan & Special Election will commence on Monday, October 26, 2026, at 8 a.m. at the following location:
Fulton County Election Hub and Operations Center
5600 Campbellton Fairburn Road, Fairburn, GA 30213

Early processing will continue daily from approximately 9am to 5 pm and will continue day to day until completed. The completion date is November 6, 2026, Friday at 5 p.m.

In accordance with O.C.G.A. §§ 21-2-492 and 21-2-493, notice is hereby given that the computation and canvassing of returns for November 3, 2026, General / Special Election will be conducted at:
Election Hub & Operations Center 5600 Campbellton Fairburn Road Union City, Georgia 30213

Tabulation is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, 2026

Please be advised of the canvassing process:

  • As part of the Fulton County canvassing process, all physical ballots are accounted for and compared to the number of votes cast prior to election certification.
  • Physical ballots cast are counted, but not tabulated, beginning the Wednesday after Election Day to verify that the number of physical ballots matches the reported votes cast at each Advance Voting and Election Day polling location.
  • If a discrepancy is identified between the number of physical ballots and the number of votes cast, the affected ballots may be recanvassed, pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 21-2-495, to resolve the discrepancy.
  • If the Superintendent determines that a recanvass of the ballot batch is necessary, the process will occur on Friday and/or Saturday following the election.
  • Recanvassing will take place in the presence of the Vote Review Panel. Additionally, the Georgia Secretary of State's Office, county political parties, and affected candidates will be notified in advance of this process. The recanvassing process will also be open to the public.

Pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 21-2-498(b)(c) a Risk Limiting Audit (RLA) shall be selected by the Secretary of State for November 3, 2026, General, Nonpartisan & Special Election. The ballots to be audited shall be selected by the Secretary of State and shall be publicly announced and published on the Secretary of State webpage.

The Risk Limiting Audit shall be open to the public and will take place at the following location, dates, and hours:

CALL FOR ELECTION

Notice is hereby given that, in accordance with O.C.G.A. § 21-2-540, a special election shall be held in Fulton County, in conjunction with the November 3, 2026, General Election, for the following position:

Fulton County Commission District 4

All persons who are not registered to vote and who desire to register to vote in the special election may register to vote through the close of business on October 5, 2026. Advance Voting will be held from October 13, 2026, to October 30, 2026.

Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Election Day, November 3, 2026.

Should a runoff election be required, such a runoff will be held on December 1, 2026.

QUALIFYING FEE NOTICE

In accordance with Georgia Election Code Section 21-2-131, the Fulton County Board of Commissioners is required to set the qualifying fee for the Fulton County Commission District 4 Office in the upcoming November 3, 2026, Special Election:

Fulton County Board of Commission, District 4 Qualifying Fee: $1,950.00

Qualifying Period for an individual seeking to be placed on the District 4 Special Election ballot:
Start: 9 a.m. Wednesday, April 29, 2026
Ending: 12 p.m. (noon) Friday, May 1, 2026

NOTICE OF CALL FOR SPECIAL ELECTION
TO THE QUALIFIED VOTERS OF FULTON COUNTY
TO CONSIDER A SPECIAL ONE PERCENT SALES AND USE TAX


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on November 3, 2026, an election will be held in all of the election districts of Fulton County, at which time there will be submitted to the qualified voters of Fulton County for their determination the question of whether or not a special one percent (1%) sales and use tax shall be reimposed on all sales and uses in Fulton County beginning July 1, 2027, upon the expiration of the current sales and use tax, and continuing for a period of time not to exceed 20 calendar quarters to raise not more than $2,095,680,577.00 to be expended for the educational purposes described below. If the continuation of the tax is approved by the voters, such vote shall also constitute the approval of the issuance of the general obligation debt of the Atlanta Independent School District in a principal amount not to exceed $350,000,000.00 (the “APS Bonds”) for the purpose of funding all or a portion of the APS Projects detailed below.

The several places for holding said election shall be at the regular and established voting precincts of all of the election districts of Fulton County, and the polls will be open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. on the date fixed for the election.

The registration deadline for taking applications from persons desiring to register to vote in this election will be the close of business on October 5, 2026. Early in-person voting begins October 13, 2026. The last day to submit an absentee ballot application shall be October 23, 2026.

NOTICE OF CALL OF ELECTION TO THE QUALIFIED VOTERS OF FULTON COUNTY

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED THAT the Board of Commissioners of Fulton County, Georgia and the governing authorities of the Cities of Alpharetta, Chattahoochee Hills, College Park, East Point, Fairburn, Hapeville, Johns Creek, Milton, Mountain Park, Palmetto, Roswell, Sandy Springs, South Fulton, and Union City hereby call a special election on November 3, 2026, (“Election”) to determine the question of whether a .75 percent (.75%) Transportation Special Purpose Local Option Sales and Use Tax (“TSPLOST”) should be implemented on April 1, 2027, and concluding March 31, 2032.

All qualified voters desiring to vote in favor of the question propounded shall vote “Yes” and all qualified voters desiring to vote in opposition of the question propounded shall vote “No.” The ballots to be used in such election should have written or printed thereon substantially the following language or such other language as may be required by law:

Shall an additional 0.75 percent salesand use taxbe imposed in that part of Fulton County, Georgia, outside of the City of Atlanta, for a period not to exceed fiveyears for the purpose of transportation improvements and congestion reduction.

The last day to register to vote in this election shall be October 5, 2026. Early in-person voting begins October 13, 2026. The last day to submit an absentee ballot application shall be October 23, 2026. Those residents of the County qualified to vote at said election shall be determined in all respects in accordance with the election laws of the State of Georgia.
